Champagne Billecart-Salmon was founded when Nicolas Francois Billecart and Elisabeth Salmon were married in 1818. Almost 200 years later, this family winery continues to produce exceptional quality wines. But perhaps of greater importance, they embody the true lifestyle that is the spirit of champagne. As they describe it, it is a life that can best be described by the words finesse, balance and elegance.
These qualities are perfectly expressed in their Brut Réserve. From their vineyards in Epernay, the wine is a traditional blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. A soft palate and understated richness confirm what you would expect from a respected Champagne house. Though they make several special Cuvee’s, this Brut is perhaps one of the finest Champagnes available in the local market.

I love the romance Champagne brings to an occasion. This wine is not only perfectly light yet delicious in flavour, just saying the name makes you sound sophisticated in the company of others.
