Wine Tastings at Caveau

The Caveau Wine and Dine Evenings are now part of the Cape calendar, carved in the rock of Table Mountain - almost! That’s because they are so different. What we have lined up for the coming months should also add a lot to the reputation, and if you want to be part of it all, may we suggest you book early… they really are proving to be most popular.

There’s one every month and you can browse the list below. Meanwhile, remember that for the flat R220, you have a good selection of wines to taste, plus of course, a fine meal. Service is included. As for the stunning line up that awaits you, how about an evening of exceptional Cape wines from a region that you probably don’t know about? Or world-renowned wine produced by world renowned South African sportsmen?  Try an evening upside down, or a surprise evening when the only thing you know to expect is the unexpected. Yes, we’re working hard to keep you well entertained, well wined, and well dined!

Renowned wine journalist, JP Rossouw, will conduct the tastings and the themes that will happen this year are:

• Sport in wines - 31st July

• An evening in reverse - 28th August

• Expressions of Time - 26th September

• Local wines – international cuisine - 30th October
