Dear Friends

The end of another splendid year makes us surprisingly contemplative. A year ago, our new restaurant at The Mill in Newlands was about to open and the Deli not even on the horizon yet. What an eventful time since. But perhaps a year shouldn’t be judged by how many changes it included. Most memorable for us are the many times we’ve spent in the company of first-time visitors, loyal customers and good friends here at Caveau. For these moments we are certainly grateful, and can only hope next year holds more of the same.
 
A wise man once said that happiness comes from having more Us than Them in your life. We certainly agree, and thank you all for being a part of Caveau this year. Merry Christmas and may your holiday be filled with superb wine, delicious food and most importantly, good friends and family.
